Add ‘reset eject
position’
Configures the instrument to start pipetting
into a reaction plate from its first well,
typically well A1. This can be useful for
pooling sample banks. There is no
contamination of source sample banks.
Add ‘pause
until
confirmation’
Pauses the instrument for an unlimited
period of time. A dialog box will appear. If
desired, enter a message that will appear
on the screen when the instrument pauses.
Then click on “OK” to add the command
to the reaction list.
When the instrument pauses, user
intervention is required to continue the
reaction setup. Click on the “OK” button to
continue.
Add fan on Turns the HEPA filter on.
Add fan off Turns the HEPA filter off.
Add sample
bank pooling

Opens the “Sample Bank Pooling” dialog
box, which enables sample banks to be
pooled. The user can control tip usage
during the pipetting operation.
Add sample

duplication

Opens the “Bank Duplication” dialog box,
which enables copying of sample banks.
The user can control tip usage.
Add sample
dilution step
Opens the “Sample Dilution” dialog box,
which enables a sample bank to be
diluted by addition of varying quantities of
diluent and sample.
Add serial
dilution step
Enables the user to perform a serial
dilution. The user can select which dilutions
to add to reactions.
