Configuring Multiple Readers

If you want to configure multiple Readers with the same configura-
tion settings, follow these procedures for each Reader:

1.

Read the Reset to PSC Defaults label below.

2.

Connect the Reader to your PC.

3.

Open OSPV and open the desired configuration file with the
Open File button.

4.

Download the configuration to each device via the Write To
Device button at the bottom of the Reader Configuration
Setup menu.

5.

Repeat steps 1 through 5 until all Readers are configured.

If at any time you wish to restore the original configuration, select the
Advanced pull-down menu, then select Reader Defaults > Reset To
Customer Defaults.

NOTE

Steps 1, 3 and 5 are not required if communication set-
tings in the Reader and OSPV are identical. If unsure,
perform all steps to assure proper connection.
