HANDLEBAR
A-HEAD STEM
In the A-Head stem, the handlebar position and the handlebar inclination, but not the han-
dlebar height can be set.
SETTING THE POSITION
1. Loosen the lateral clamp screws

(fig. H) of the
stem with a 4 or 5 mm hexagonal socket
wrench.
2. Align the handlebar.
3. Tighten the clamp screws again well (s. chapter
Torque specifications).
SETTING THE INCLINATION
1. First loosen the clamp spindle screw of the
handlebar sleeve

(fig. I) with a 4 or 5 mm
hexagonal socket wrench.
2. Adjust the inclination angle of the handlebar.
3. Turn the handlebar attachments (e.g. brake le-
ver) back to the starting position.
4. Tighten the clamp spindle screw

(fig. I) again
well (s. chapter torque specifications).
In order to set the play in the steering, tighten the
upper setting screw

(fig. H) with a 5 mm hexag -
onal socket wrench. The setting screw should be
tightened until the bearing is play-free. It does not
need to be tightened firmly necessarily.
