Danger to life from an electric shock if the legally
prescribed transport height for folding operations
is exceeded.
•
The machine's belt units are raised to over
4m when folded up and down.
Ensure that the entire swivel area of the belt
units is clear and that no power lines or oth-
er obstacles are present in the danger area.
•
Even when transporting cross-country, if the
machine is driven with increased ground
clearance, it is over 4 m high. Reduce the
ground clearance again if obstacles such as
power lines cross your path.
•
Ensure that the lower link height is 650 mm
before travelling on roads.
TIP
The folding process is control-guided. This means that
if you press a key and give a command that cannot be
carried out, a message will appear telling you what to do
to achieve your goal.
1. From transport to headland position
0. Requirements:
There is sufficient pressure in the red hydraulic
circuit.
The working width is set to maximum.
1. Press key [
] to enable the folding process.
2. If the requirements are not met, a message box
appears with instructions on what to do to meet
them.
3. Actuate the red control unit to release the transport
safeguard, to release the transport safeguard hooks
from their locking mechanism and to lower the folding
sections to the headland position.
4. As soon as the headland püsition is reached, the
belt units stop. You can release the control unit.
2. From headland to working position
0. Requirements:
Machine is in the headland position
1. Press one of the [
] / [
] buttons to enable the
hydraulic system to switch between headland and
working position. Now both belt units are ready for
the change from headland to working position.
2. If you only want to proceed with one belt unit, deselect
the belt unit you do not want to fold using the keys
[
] or [
].
3. Move the red control unit on the tractor to the float
position to lower the folding sections.
3. From working position to headland position
0. Requirements:
Machine is in the working position
1. If you only want to proceed with one belt unit, deselect
the belt unit you do not want to fold using the keys
[
] or [
].
2. Actuate the red control unit to hydraulically lift the
preselected belt units until the headland position is
reached.
4. From headland to transport position
0. Requirements:
There is sufficient pressure in the red hydraulic
circuit.
Both belt units are in the headland position
The swath apron is retracted.
The working width is set at maximum.
The lower link height is 650 mm.
1. Press [
] key
2. If the requirements are not met, a message box
appears with instructions on what to do to meet
them.
3. Actuate red control unit to raise the preselected belt
units.
4. Ensure that the transport locking mechanism for the
folding sections really locks.
Cross-country transport
Transport in the field should be undertaken with increased
ground clearance.
1. Increase the ground clearance using the hoist. If this
is not sufficient, proceed as follows:
Increase ground clearance additionally:
Requirement: Machine is in transport position and locked
1. Press key [
] increased ground clearance
2. Actuate the green control unit for "Working width"
until the hydraulic cylinders are fully extended.
The position for transport on the field has been reached.
TIP
In this position, the folding sections cannot be
folded down.
Reduce ground clearance:
1. Lower the green control unit for "working width" until
cylinder movement stops.
