Cleaning the machine
DANgER
Danger to life exists through moving or rotating parts
Carry out maintenance works on the machine only
when
•
it has been parked securely on level, firm
ground,
•
it has been secured against rolling, and
•
the tractor engine is turned off and the pto
shaft is stationary.
•
All moving or rotating parts have come to a
standstill. (Hearing test!)
•
The tractor's ignition key has been removed.
Danger to life exists when under the machine.
•
Adequately support the sections you will be
under.
Requirements:
- Clean the machine only in the working position with
the belt units lowered or in the locked transport
position.
- Secure machine against rolling.
- Wait for the machine to come to a standstill and
disconnect the drive.
Remove clogging
There are 4 points where blockages tend to occur.
1. On the track rollers
- Put the machine in the transport position and check
the locking mechanism.
- Fulfill all other requirements
- Increase scraper spacing
- Remove clogging
2. Pick-up scraper
- Remove clogging
- For stones, dismantle the affected scrapers (see
section "Replacing spring tines") and only then
remove the stones.
3. Belt running surface
- Free the belt running surface from any leftover fodder.
4. Belt drive
- See section "Cleaning the conveyor belt".
Cleaning the electric valves:

Danger to life through flying sparks from the valves
igniting the dry fodder
•
Remove fodder from the valves after each
run.
Clean the electric valves regularly to reduce the risk of fire.
Disposal of old equipment
The machine must be disposed of at a legally regulated
recycling centre at the end of its service life.
