Attaching the machine
WARNINg
Risk of serious injury through crushing when coupling
the machine to the lower linkage.
•
When coupling to the lower linkage, take
particular care not to become wedged or
caught in between.
NOTE
Material damage due to machine moving laterally in
the headstock.
•
Adjust the limiting chains and lower link
stabilisers so that it is not possible for the
machine to move laterally.
1. Couple the headstock on the tractor:
1. Switch off PTO shaft
2. Properly fit KAT III lower link balls to the lower link

.
NOTE
Material damage through the lower link balls or
the ball bolt on the headstock being knocked
out.
•
Observe the wear limits of the lower
link balls as provided in the manufac-
turer's specifications.
3. Attach headstock to the lower link of the tractor
4. Set tractor's lower link height to 650 mm. (Ground
to the middle of the lower link)
2. Fold up support stand
CAUTION
Risk of injury from improperly attached machine.
•
The machine could drop when the support
stand is removed. Check that the machine
and tractor are properly coupled.
NOTE
Material damage due to the support stand folding
down while travelling. A support stand that is not
secured can fall down during a transport run or
during operation, and be damaged in the process.
Consequently, this can lead to the machine tipping
over when it is parked.
•
Ensure that the support stand locking pin is
engaged.
1. Release the support stand with the locking bolt (1).
1
2. Fold up support stand
3. Make sure that the support stand locking pin (2) is
