Operating the system
two solutions are mixed prior to entry into the container.
The container is kept full and the excess solution forced out into the waste container.

Vr
defines the required flow rate through the system. This is the sum of the flows from pump 1 +
pump 2.

are the pump flow factors that define the flow rate for each pump in mL/rpm.
Flow rate = Fn * rpm + Offn
Ksol1
is the concentration of the solution delivered by pump 1. The solution provided by pump 2 is
assumed to have a concentration of 0%.

or
Ksol1
to 0 will disable the pumps.
KStart
is the concentration required when going to start. If
KStart
is set to a negative value the
pumps will be switched off while going to the start temperature.

Note
Parameters need to be selected to ensure that the pump speeds for Watson Marlow 520 series are
maintained below 220 rpm.
