Important
• The pr ocedu r e fo r setting the r eceive r o p e r ation
mode diffe r s fo r the r emote cont r ols included with
the SC-37 and SC-35. Fo r the SC-37’s r emote cont r ol,
set the r emote cont r ol o p e r ation selecto r switch to
RECEIVER
. Fo r the SC-35’s r emote cont r ol, pr ess the
button. When “set the r emote cont r ol to
the r eceive r o p e r ation mode” is indicated in these
inst r uctions, use the r es p ective pr ocedu r e desc r ibed
above.
Changing the OSD display language
(OSD Language)
The language used on the G r a p hical Use r Inte r face
sc r een can be changed.
• The ex p lanations in these o p e r ating inst r uctions a r e
fo r when English is selected fo r the GUI sc r een.
1 Switch on the receiver and your TV.
Make su r e that the TV’s video in p ut is set to this r eceive r
(fo r exam p le, if you connected this r eceive r to the
VIDEO
jacks on you r TV, make su r e that the
VIDEO
in p ut is now
selected).
2 Set the remote control to the receiver operation
mode, then press HOME MENU.

TV. Use

and ENTER to navigate th r ough the
sc r eens and select menu items. P r ess RETURN to exit
the cu rr ent menu.
3 Select ‘System Setup’ from the Home Menu.
4 Select ‘OSD Language’ from the System Setup
menu.
5 Select the desired language.
6 Select ‘OK’ to change the language.
The setting is com p leted and the System Setup menu
r ea pp ea r s automatically.
Automatically conducting optimum
sound tuning (Full Auto MCACC)
The Full Auto MCACC Setu p measu r es the acoustic
cha r acte r istics of you r listening a r ea, taking into account
ambient noise, s p eake r connection and s p eake r size, and
tests fo r both channel delay and channel level. Afte r you
have set u p the mic r o p hone pr ovided with you r system,
the r eceive r uses the info r mation f r om a se r ies of test
tones to o p timize the s p eake r settings and equalization
fo r you r p a r ticula r r oom.
SC-37 only:
By p e r fo r ming the Full Auto MCACC Setu p
pr ocedu r e, the f r equency- p hase cha r acte r istics of the
connected s p eake r s a r e also calib r ated.
Once the Full Auto MCACC Setu p pr ocedu r e is
com p leted, the Full Band Phase Cont r ol function is
automatically tu r ned on ( p age 63).
Important
• Make su r e the mic r o p hone and s p eake r s a r e not
moved du r ing the Full Auto MCACC Setu p .
• Using the Full Auto MCACC Setu p will ove r w r ite any
existing settings fo r the MCACC pr eset you select.
• Befo r e using the Full Auto MCACC Setu p , the
head p hones should be disconnected.
CAUTION
• The test tones used in the Full Auto MCACC Setu p
a r e out p ut at high volume.
