Event Scheduler
The Event Scheduler allows an administrator to schedule, in advance, when an action will
automatically be initiated.
Actions can be scheduled as one-time occurrences, or can be scheduled to occur on an
hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly basis. The actions that may be scheduled include: cam
spots, tour sequences, group presets, group sequences, alarms, and modes.
Each event is essentially a separate user to the system, and as such is subject to the
system’s “first-come, first-served” rule. Therefore the system administrator must be sure
to pay close attention to priorities. If a scheduled event is to override an operation by
either a controller, an operator or another event, its priority must be higher.
This is especially important regarding the event action Lock feature. A
Locked action can only be overridden by a higher priority. An action
not
Locked can be overridden by any priority.
