When completing the user registration, click the
[Set] button.
User
Configure the user settings (change of user name and password, operational level, etc.).
Up to 32 users can be registered.

User name
Enter a user name.
Enter 5 to 14 alphanumeric characters.

Password
Enter a password.
Enter 5 to 8 alphanumeric characters.
Set a unique password, not to be easily guessed by an
outsider. Please do not forget the set password.
To enhance the security, change the password periodi-
cally.

Level
Select the user level from the following.
Operable functions for each level can be set in the
"Level" menu (page 76).
LV1 (Default)/LV2/LV3/LV4

Access priority
Select the rank of the priority (1 - 16: highest - lowest)
for the selected user to operate the recorder in case
multiple users access the recorder simultaneously will
be displayed.

Default screen
Select the camera channel from which images are to be
displayed just after login from the following.
Cam.1 (default) - Cam.64/Cam.1 - 4/Cam.5 - 8 …
Cam.61 - 64/Seq
Cam.1 - Cam.64:
Live images from the selected cam-
era channel will be displayed on a 1-screen.
Cam.1-4 - Cam.61-64:
Live images from the selected
camera channels will be displayed on a 4-screen.
Seq:
Images will be displayed sequentially.

Camera partitioning
Determine the operational functions of each camera
channel.
View/Operate (default):
Both displaying of live/record-
ed images and controlling of the cameras are possi-
ble.
Display:
Displaying of live/recorded images is possible,
but controlling of the cameras is impossible.
--:
Neither displaying of live/recorded images nor con-
trolling of the cameras are possible.
Important:
• When the user settings are registered, edited or
deleted, do not forget to click the [Set] button to
apply the settings.
