5. Caution for Zip disk
(1) In order to prevent lose of important data, keep backup disk.”
(2) Be careful handling disk and observe the following points.
• Do not disassemble the disk.
• Do not open the shutter of the disk.
• Do not touch the shutter of the disk.
• Do not put any foreign object or dirt into
the disk.
• Do not expose direct sun light or leave high
humidity condition of more than 80 %.
• Do not place the disk where the magnetic
field is more than 30 Gauss.
• Remove the disk before turning off the power switch of the Digital copier,
when disk to be removed from the disk drive.
6. Precautions for back up battery (Chargeable Ni-Cd battery)
(1) When the message of ‘Back up in progress’ disappears immediately by
turning off the power switch without using the hard disk drive and/or Zip
drive, the battery charge is required.
(2) In order to charge back up battery, it is recommendable to turn on the
Digital copier when the digital copier is not in use for a long time. (more
than 48 hours)
