Procedure

Check

(1) Remove the copier rear cover.

(7 screws)

(2) Installation procedure

Remove all shipping materials before installation.

Caution : Make sure the copier is unplugged before the installation.

(1) Remove the hard disk mounting

bracket. (right) (2 screws)

Note : This bracket is for the

printer hard disk drive.

(FA-HD01)

(2) Remove the hard disk mounting

bracket. (left) (2 screws)

(1) Install the hard disk drive in the

front compartment (4 screws).

(2) Reinstall the hard disk drive

mounting bracket (left).

(3) Connect the IDE signal harness to

the IDE connector on the hard

disk drive.

(4) Connect the power supply har-

ness to the hard disk drive.

(5) Reinstall the hard disk bracket

(right). (2 screws)

(Connect the harness if the hard

disk drive for printer is installed.)
