Check

(1) Remove the copier rear cover.

(7 screws)

(1) Remove the hard disk mounting

bracket. (right) (2 screws)

(1) Install the printer hard disk

drive.(4 screws)

(1) Connect the IDE signal harnesses

to the IDE connector on the hard
disk drive and the printer control
PCB.

(2) Connect the power supply har-

ness to the hard disk drive.

(3) Reinstall the hard disk drive

mounting bracket (right).

(4) Reinstall the rear cover.

(2) Installation procedure

Remove all shipping materials before installation.

Caution: Make sure the copier is unplugged before the installation.
