Location Procedure
Skew adjustment
If skew of the copy is experienced and
adjustment of the cassette has not proved
effective, follow the procedure described
below.
(1) Place Ledger/A3 size paper in the sheet
bypass tray.
(2) Enter the service mode and select mode
"8".
(3) Select F8-50 and press start.
(4) Check the image for skew.
(5) Adjust
F6-41 - 44 , depending on the
source of the skew, to adjust the paper
loop at the timing roller.
(more loop / less loop)
Adjustment of laser unit position for skew
adjustment
If the skew is still not resolved perform the
following adjustment.
(1) Perform steps 1-5 above.
(2) Remove the platen glass.
(Refer to the removal procedure for the
exposure lamp)
(3) Remove the LSU PCB cover (2 screws).
(4) Remove the lens unit cover (3 screws).
(5) Loosen the laser unit mounting screws
and adjust accordingly. (4 screws)
(6) Reassemble in reverse order.
