6. Laser power (PWM circuit) adjustment
Note : This adjustment is required only when the Laser unit has been replaced.

1)Place Ledger/A3 size paper in the
sheet bypass tray.
2)Enter the service mode and select
mode " 8 ".
3)Select F8-18 and press the Start key
to make a test print.
4)Count the number of gray steps which
are visible in the F6-39 mode.
Example :
As four gray steps can be seen in the
figure in the left, input '+2' in the F6-
39 .
