Setting the “ADJ. to Media” (Windows Only)

This function is available in Windows only (not available in Macintosh).
If the print quality deteriorates when you print on other than recommended media, change the ADJ. to
Media settings. You can examine the print quality by printing out the test pattern.
Perform the following steps to change the setting of ADJ. to Media.
1. Install the Print Media Test Pattern if it is not installed on your computer (see below).
2. Print a Media Test Pattern to confirm the current setting of ADJ. to Media (
see “Printing the
Print Media Test Pattern” on page 71
).
3 Set the ADJ. to Media using the printer panel (
see “Setting the ADJ. to Media” on page 72
).
If the Print Media Test Pattern is not installed, you should install it as follows.

Click [Start] , select Settings , then click Control Panel .
The Control Panel window is displayed.
• For Windows XP, click
[Start] , then click Control Panel .

Double click Add / Remove Programs .
The Add / Remove Programs window is displayed.
• For Windows XP, click
Add or Remove Programs .

Select Panasonic DP-CL21P Ver x.xx or Panasonic DP-CL21M Ver x.xx and
click
[Change / Remove...] button.
The Welcome (Modify, repair, or remove the program) window is displayed.

Click on the Modify check button and click [Next>] .
NOTE:
• If you installed the DP-CL21P / DP-CL21M Software using the printer CD-ROM disk, you need
to insert it in your CD-ROM drive. If you installed the DP-CL21P/DP-CL21M Software using
the Easy Installation Environment of the server computer, be sure to confirm the server
computer’s power on in advance.
