If the Automatic Duplex Unit is installed in your printer, automatic duplex printing can be performed.

Load paper into the Tray 1 (standard media tray), Tray 2*

or Tray 3*

(option).
•The following paper must be used. Otherwise, it may cause wrinkles or paper jam.
Media Type :Thin paper [60 – 75 g /m

(16 – 20 lb.)] /
Plain paper [75 – 105 g /m
2
(20 – 28 lb.)] /
Bond paper, Letterhead or Recycled Paper [75 – 105 g /m
2
(20 – 28 lb.)]
Paper Size : Letter, Legal, A4 or B5 (JIS)
•Lay the paper straight if the paper is curled.

If the Optional Paper Feeder has been installed, these selections can be selected.

Open a document to perform duplex printing.

Select Page Setup… from your application’s File menu.

Select your printer from the
Format for
menu.

Select the loaded paper size (US Letter, US Legal, A4 or JB5) from Paper Size .

Click [OK].

Select Print... from the application’s File menu.

Click Copies & Pages menu and select Paper Feed menu.

Select Auto Select , Tray 1 , Tray 2 or Tray 3 from the All pages from .

Click Paper Feed menu and select Printer Features menu.

Select Plain Paper, Thin Paper, Bond/Letterhead or Recycled Paper from
the Media Type in the Features 1 tab.
