3 Quality
Selects a resolution Standard , Fine or Enhance . A higher resolution provides better print quality.
However, the throughput speed is diminished.
When using a transparency, it is unable to select the Quality setting.
4 Image Reduction
If the printer is not equipped with the optional memory, when using the Enhance mode or Duplex
mode a Memory Overflow error may occur, resulting in the deterioration of the image quality.
If the Image Reduction feature is set to ON, the printer automatically controls print quality to
prevent the Memory Overflow error by clicking on the Image Reduction check box.
NOTE:
• The control panel of the printer indicates Image Reduction when Image Reduction features
works.
5 Toner Save
Reduces the amount of toner used to print a document by clicking on the Toner Save check box.
Solid colors and texts will be replaced by light shading if the toner save feature is turned on.
