Determines the number of copies (1 to 999) to be printed.

■

A4 Wide

Changes the margin/printable area of A4 paper so that 80 characters in 10-pitch may be printed
on a line by selecting Yes.

Orientation

Selects

Portrait

(vertical) or

Landscape

(horizontal).

Portrait

Landscape

■

Lines Per Page

Sets the maximum number of text lines (5 to 128) to be printed on each page. If you change either
Orientation or Print Format, the number of lines per page will be updated automatically to reflect
the current Orientation and Print Format selections.

■

PCL Font Menu

• PCL Font Source

Selects font source; Resident or Download Font. Download Font menu is displayed only when
download fonts are available.

• PCL Font Number

Selects a font used to print text by selecting the font number (0 to 53). The printer assigns a
number to each font and lists them on the PCL Font List print (

see page 33

).

• PCL Font Pitch / PCL Font Point

Selects the font pitch or point of the PCL font source and PCL font number. The pitch or point item
depends on the selected font.
If the selected font is fixed-pitch outline typeface, select pitch size from 0.44 to 99.99 in 0.01 step.
If the selected font is proportionally-spaced outline typeface, select point size from 4.00 to 999.75
in 0.25 step.
