Configure OCR

1. Start the Opticon UniversalConfig application and click

How to Set Code-Specific Options

6.3.1

UPC

UPC (which technically refers to UPC-A) is a barcode developed in the 1970s by the United
States Uniform Code Council Inc. UPC is mainly used in the distribution industry to scan trade
items at the point of sale.

6.3.1.1

UPC-A Settings

UPC-A settings include a character set, number of digits, and a check digit (CD) method.
