8.3 TRANSMISSION JACK MOVEMENT
!
DANGER!
The equipment can be moved with
the load adopting all the following precautions.
• Before operating with the equipment, it is compulsory
to make sure there are no objects, materials or
pieces that may hinder the movement of the wheels
of the hydraulic equipment. No traces of oil or other
liquids must be present that may make the floor
slippery.
• It is compulsory to check that the floor where the
hydraulic equipment operates is free of objects, is
clean, level and able to support the load of the
equipment weight and the element loaded on the
equipment. The part of the floor where you intend to
operate the equipment must be free of slits, openings
or drains where the wheels of the equipment could
get stuck or caught.
• Before moving the equipment with its load, it is
compulsory to identify the simplest and safest route,
in order to reduce direction changes to a minimum.
• When moving the equipment while it is loaded, it
is compulsory to proceed slowly, even in straight
sections, slowing down opportunely during direction
changes and making sure that one of the wheels
does not get caught. If one gets caught, stop
movement immediately and find the reason: in the
event of defects or failures, interrupt operations and
remove the load with an appropriate lifting device with
the proper characteristics.
• After positioning the load on the cradle, lower the load
using the lowering device (2 Fig. 6). When lowering is
finished, release the control, making sure it returns to
its original position.
• It is forbidden to move if the cradle has not been
completely lowered.
• Before starting movement, make sure that the load
placed on the cradle is solidly and properly secured
to prevent untimely motions during movement.
• Movement must only be done using the provided
handles and so as to have the area where moving is
done and the part of the floor close to the equipment
wheels under control.

DANGER!
The hydraulic equipment is not an
internal handling and transport means and must
not be used to perform long movements with a
load. There are adequate and suitable handling
means for performing long movements.
