2. SPECIFIC USE
Intended use lists the admitted uses for which the
manufacturer designed and constructed the machine.
Only the strict observance of admitted uses guarantees
safe device use for the operator and exposed personnel.
For this reason, reasonably foreseeable improper use
has been identified by the manufacturer according to his
experience in equipment use.
For this reason, in addition to foreseen use, some but not
all reasonably foreseeable improper uses are listed in the
following paragraphs.
2.1 FORESEEN USE
The hydraulic jack was designed and manufactured
as a support for assembly, disassembly and moving of
gears, differentials, suspensions, clutch units and other
mechanical parts of vehicles weighing no more than the
load capacity indicated on the manufacturer's identification
plate (Fig. 2).

Any uses not explicitly indicated in
this manual are considered improper and hence
prohibited: the manufacturer cannot be held
liable for direct or indirect damage or injury to
persons, animals or things caused by incorrect
use of the equipment.
2.2 IMPROPER USE
Due to its structure and characteristics, the equipment may
lend itself to improper usage which has not been foreseen
by the manufacturer and which, if applied, may cause
serious accidents with harm and damage to persons,
animals and things.
Some but not all examples of reasonably foreseeable
improper use are listed below.
• It is forbidden carry out operations with loads
exceeding the capacity indicated on the
manufacturer's identification plate.
• It is forbidden to use the equipment for supporting
auto-vehicles, even partial.
• It is forbidden to use the equipment for lifting auto-
vehicles, even partial.
• It is forbidden lift loads whose centre of gravity
position falls outside of the cradle outline, in height as
well as laterally.
• It is forbidden lift loads where a centre of gravity
position cannot be identified with reasonable security.
• It is forbidden to move the equipment if the cradle is
not in rest position (cradle fully lowered)
• It is forbidden to support nor lift units containing
potentially hazardous materials.
• It is forbidden lift or support materials, goods or
products that differ from those indicated in the
intended use.
• It is forbidden to support or lift persons and/or animals.
• It is forbidden apply cradles or brackets to the
equipment that are not original.
