6.4 Operation of BL imaging mode

MAJ-2308 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Ch.6

NOTE

• The illumination light is extinguished temporarily during the observation mode

switching.

• If the spare lamp selector lever of the LED light source is set to “SPARE LAMP”, BL

imaging is not available.

• Some switches and buttons cannot be operated for a few seconds in which the

observation mode is switched over.

• The image may sometimes be noisy during BL imaging mode.

• The contrast cannot be changed during BL imaging mode.

• For more details on the BL imaging, contact Olympus.

By referring to the instruction manuals for the LED light source and surgical
microscope used in combination with this instrument, set the power switch of the LED
light source to ON and then turn ON the surgical microscope.

Turn on the observation monitor used in combination with this instrument by following
the instructions in their instruction manuals.

To perform BL imaging, set the filter selector
knob to “BL”.

BL imaging can be started.
