6.3 Operation of IR playback function

MAJ-2308 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Ch.6

Explain the IR playback function.

NOTE

The IR playback function can be used by setting the video recorder to auto
playback mode.
For details on the IR playback function, contact Olympus.

NOTE

• The image may be defocused at the moment the imaging mode is switched. If this

happens, re-focus it as described in Section 6.10, “Adjusting the focus” in the
instruction manual for the surgical microscope.

• AF cannot be operated in IR imaging.

• If the character information display on the observation monitor screen is set to

“OFF”, the IR icon is not displayed on the monitor screen even when the IR
imaging mode is entered.

To finish IR imaging and return to the WLI
observation, set the filter selector knob to
“WLI”.
