8.2 Troubleshooting guide

MAJ-2308 INSTRUCTION MANUAL

Light source
error

Irregularity in the LED light
source.

Put the surgical microscope to the WLI mode. To
use IR or BL imaging, switch the surgical
microscope to the IR or BL imaging mode again.
If this error occurs frequently, set the spare lamp
selector lever of the LED light source to “SPARE
LAMP”.
Turn OFF the surgical microscope and LED light
source after use, unplug the power supply plug of
the surgical microscope from the hospital-grade
power outlet, disconnect the other end of the
power cord from the power inlet receptacle, and
contact Olympus.

to an extension terminal other
than the IR imaging unit terminal
of the LED light source.

Connect the IR imaging unit to the LED light
source as described in Section 3.3, “Connection
of Infrared Imaging Unit (MAJ-2304)/ Blue Light
Imaging Unit (MAJ-2305)”.

The Blue Light Imaging Unit is
connected to an extension
terminal other than the BL
imaging unit terminal of the LED
light source.

Connect the Blue Light Imaging Unit to the LED
light source as described in Section 3.3,
“Connection of Infrared Imaging Unit
(MAJ-2304)/ Blue Light Imaging Unit
(MAJ-2305)”.

Connect the IR imaging unit to the LED light

Connect the IR imaging unit to the LED light

If the problem still persists, turn OFF the surgical
microscope and LED light source after use,
unplug the power supply plug of the surgical
microscope from the hospital-grade power outlet,
disconnect the other end of the power cord from
the power inlet receptacle, and contact Olympus.
