The heat pump has the following characteristics:

General characteristics

OEG swimming pool heat pumps are used for the tempering of swimming pool water.
The swimming pool water is led through the heat pump by means of a suitable circulation
or filter pump while being heated or cooled.
This is controlled and regulated via an integrated LED display and keypad.

OEG swimming pool heat pumps are only allowed to be applied in the ambient
temperatures specified in chapter 5.1.
When systems are planned, the expected heat losses of the swimming pool water to the
environment are to be matched with the performance curves of the heat pumps and
brought in line with the desired range of application.
According to the intended use, heat pumps are used for the tempering water of outdoor
swimming pools to extend the season in spring and autumn.
The water of indoor swimming pools can also be tempered all year if the permissible
operating conditions are kept.
In any case, heat pumps must be protected against frost damages, as indicated in
chapter 6.2.

OEG swimming pool heat pumps are intended for private as well as commercial use,
taking into account the health and safety regulations in a non-explosive surrounding.

A different or extended use of the unit is considered as not intended. In this case, the
safety and the protection of the unit can be impaired. Moreover, it could also result in
damages to the equipment. The company OEG GmbH will not be held liable for any dama-
ges resulting from non-compliance with the instructions.

Intended use also includes:
• Following all installation and operating instructions.
• Following all instructions in the delivery documentations (additional purchase

components).

• Following all safety instructions.
• Following all environmental instructions, particularly all instructions about the

hermetically sealed refrigerant circuit.

• Adherence to the inspection and maintenance intervals.
