Important: Please read the safety instructions carefully before using the
equipment. The following instructions are essential for safety and should
therefore be observed strictly.
Installation and service
Installation, start-up, maintenance and repairs may only be carried out by an appropria-
tely qualified technician in compliance with currently applicable standards.
Prior to operation or implementing any work on the equipment (installation, start-up, use,
maintenance), the person responsible must become familiar with all instructions in the
installation manual of the heat pump as well as with its technical specifications.
The equipment must under no circumstances be set up in the vicinity of heat sources,
combustible materials or near the air intake of a building.
Unless the equipment is installed in a location with limited access, a protective grille must
be fitted around the heat pump.
To avoid severe burns, you should avoid contact with the pipework during installation,
maintenance or repairs. Always wear protective clothing.
Prior to any work on the refrigerant system, the heat pump must be turned off and cooled
down. Working on the refrigerant system is only permitted for qualified technicians.
When servicing the heat pump, the refrigerant level should be checked. Please check if
the pressure switches for high and low pressure are correctly connected to the refrigerant
system and if they disconnect the circuit when being triggered during the annual leak
inspection of the equipment.
Check the refrigerant system components for traces of corrosion or oil stains.
Use
To avoid serious injuries, you should never touch the fan when it is operating.
Make sure that the heat pump is kept out of the reach of children to avoid serious injuries
caused by the blades of the heat exchanger.
Never start the equipment unless there is water in the swimming pool or the circulation
pump is in operation.
Check the water flow rate once a month and clean the filter if required.
Cleaning
Prior to cleaning, turn off the power supply of the equipment. Close all valves for water
inlet and outlet.
Do not insert any objects into the inlet and outlet for air and water.
Do not rinse the equipment with water to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Repair
Works on the refrigerant system must be carried out in compliance with currently appli-
cable safety regulations.
All brazing work should be done by a qualified welder. Only original spare parts may be
installed.
When replacing any pipes, only copper pipes conforming to standard NF EN 12735-1 may
be used for these repairs.
