Changing the Waste Toner Container

Changing the Waste Toner Container

When the waste toner container is full, the procedure for changing the container is
displayed on the touch panel display.

WARNING

.

•

Do not throw used waste toner containers into open ﬂames. Also, do not store
waste toner containers in places exposed to open ﬂames, as this may cause the
toner to ignite and result in burns or a ﬁre.
Your service representative will dispose of the used waste toner container. Use
the seal removed from the new waste toner container to cover up the opening of
the used waste toner container.

CAUTION

Used toner cannot be reused. Do not mix new and used toner together.

Pull out all the drawers and the duplexing unit.

Press and then release the button of each drawer and duplexing unit before
pulling it out.

Gently press the button all the way to the back. If you do not press the button all
the way, you will not be able to pull the drawer and duplexing unit out. In this
case, push the drawer and duplexing unit back in and press the button again.
