Control Panel Parts and Functions

Display contrast dial
Use to adjust the brightness of the touch panel
display.
b Guide key
Press to display explanations of modes or
functions on the touch panel display.
c Reset key
Press to restore the settings to the standard
copy settings.

ACS key
Press to turn the Automatic Color Selection
(ACS) function on or off. The ACS function
enables the copier to automatically sense if the
original is in black-and-white or color.

Full Color key
Press to make copies in full color.

Black key
Press to make copies in black-and-white only.
g Original Recognition key
Press to turn the copier’s function to
automatically sense the dimension of the original
on or off.
h Center Shift key
Press to turn the Center Shift function on or off.
The Center Shift function automatically centers
the image of the original on the copies.
i Stop key
Press to stop an operation in progress, such as a
scan job or a Copy job.
j Energy Saver key
Press to put the copier into the Energy Saver
mode.
