To print the X-accuracy print

Press the ‘down’ arrow once to enter the menu.

Follow the flowchart path to get to ‘x-accuracy’.

Press ‘enter’.

To calculate the adjustment value

Measure the X direction side (vertical side) of the printed square.

If the measured value is:
■
greater than 500, enter a negative adjustment value.
■
less than 500, enter a positive adjustment value.
The value range is between -1 mm and +1 mm, by increments of 0.1 mm. On
the control panel, this is equivalent to the range of -10 to +10. Example: If you
measure 499.6 mm, enter ‘+4’.
Note:
Be aware that your changes are not taken into account on the
X-accuracy print because that print is only a reference print (see ‘Printing the
X-accuracy print’ on page 89).
