Advanced functions

Locking the printer menu

The

‘

locked’ menu option locks most of the printer menu. Only the following

menus are accessible in locked mode:

■

clean head

■

colour mode

■

Flush m.saver

■

display

■

# copies (if ‘reprint’ is on)

To limit access to the printer menu, you enter a password as described below:

Press the ‘down’ arrow once to enter the menu.

Follow the flowchart path to get to ‘enter password’.

Enter the password, by pressing successively the arrow keys below:

Enter the ‘short menu’ or ‘full menu’ passwords, as applicable. See the
procedures below to enter the appropriate password.
