nuts and washers as shown on drawing 17-1881-121.
NOTE: Different sizes of interpanel seal retainers exist for this
project, be sure to check drawing 17-1881-121 to ensure each
retainer is located in the correct position.

Torque all nuts to the values shown in the anchor torque

specifications section below.

7. Restraining Strap Installation

The following instructions are for restraining straps with a nylon rod
molded in on only one end of the strap. For straps with nylon rods molded
into each end, instructions will differ.

1.

Locate all restraining strap and restraining strap clamps. Review
drawings 101 and 124 to grasp a preliminary concept of how the
straps attach.

2.

Use compressed air to raise the bladders about halfway to their
maximum height.

NOTE: To avoid damage to this system, use dry air from a compressor
with pressure regulation controls and pressure relief safety. Raising the
get with high pressure air or wet air could damage or destroy the system.

3.

Lay the strap flat on the ground and place one clamp plate against
the round nylon round in the end of the restraining strap. Measure
the distance that represents the strap length from the end of the
clamp on the spillway to the end of the clamp on the top of the gate.
