Chapter 3 - Setup and Installation

Clustered Connection - Dual Hosts

Direct Attach Connection - Single Host Dual HBA Cabling Diagram

If you wish to add additional enclosure(s), follow the instructions found at

“Expansion Connection” on page 39, otherwise skip to the next step.

Power on your system, refer to “Powering On the Storage System” on

page 41.

This completes the setup and cabling of this configuration.

Clustered Connection - Dual Hosts

Complete the storage system installation.

Connect the SCSI data cable(s).

Connect one cable from Host #1 HBA SCSI port to the lower “Host CH 0”

connector on the RAID Controller.

Connect a second cable from a second Host #2 HBA SCSI port to the

lower “Host CH 1” connector on the RAID Controller.
