6. Verify that the alarm deviation is set to at least 40 degrees C.
7. Verify that the control output is set in “AUTO” mode, Type is
“TPO” and Action is “REVERSE”. The computer lowers the
output % power once the zone temperature has reached the
set point. Once the zone heats beyond the set point, the
computer will begin to decrease to output % power and the
zone heat value should start dropping. If the heat zone
temperature does not start dropping with the output power %
value, follow the Thermodynamics and Hardware sections
explained below.
8. Verify that the TI value should be set to 500 for IR panels
heaters.
B. Thermodynamics
1. If the set point of adjacent zones differs by more than about 30
degrees C, the other zone may in fact, heat the zone with the
lower set point, thus causing an over-temperature condition.
This condition may be corrected by adjusting the set point of
the zones in question. If the customer needs zone separation
greater than 30 deg then please contact the factory for
support.
2. Another zone overheating, may cause the situation. If all of the
tests in this section check out, perform the tests on each
adjacent zone.
