SWITCHING BATTERY PACKS (BATTERY REMOVAL)
1
Turn the key switch OFF and Disconnect the Battery Connector.
2
Open the battery access door.
3
Roll a pallet jack (NOTE: A 27” (68.58 cm) or narrower pallet jack is required, a pallet jack any wider will not work!) under the battery
box (make sure the forks do not come out from under the other side of the chassis or you will raise the entire machine). Raise the
jack until the Battery Box (B) is high enough to pull out of the chassis.
4
See Figure 2. Roll the pallet jack until it stops against the back wall of the Battery Stand Weldment (A). Set the Battery Box (B)
onto the Battery Stand Weldment (A) as shown. Make sure the side rails on the Battery Box (B) rest on top of the vertical lips on
the Battery Stand Weldment (A).
5
Push the connector from the charger into the connector from the batteries. Follow the instructions on the battery charger.
6
Roll the pallet jack under the other Battery Pack on the other Battery Stand. Make sure the jack stops against the back wall, not
against the side wall.
7
Raise the jack until the battery box can be rolled away from the Battery Stand. Make sure the battery box will clear the side rails
in the chassis and then roll the battery box into the battery compartment until it contacts the other side of the chassis and lower
it onto the side rails in the chassis as shown in Figure 1.
8
Connect the battery quick disconnect and close the battery access door.
9
Your machine is now ready for use.
Side Rails should sit on
top of vertical lips as shown
