PAD LIFT ACTUATOR REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

Place the pad deck assembly in the down position and disconnect the battery pack.

Disconnect the pad lift actuator motor electrical cord assembly.

See Figure 6. Remove the (2) (A) Screws and the Mount Weldment (B) from the Main Lift Linkage (C).

Remove the Retainer Ring (D) and slide the Pin (E) out to remove the Lift Actuator Motor (F) from the machine.

Remove the (2) (G) Screws and remove the Nut Retainers (H & I) from the Spring Housing (J).

Separate the Spring Housing (J) and the Compression Spring (K) from the Plastic Drive Nut (L).

PAD LIFT ACTUATOR DRIVE NUT REPLACEMENT

Remove the Pad Lift Actuator from the machine. Follow steps 1-6 of the
Pad Lift Actuator Removal and Installation
section.

Spin the Plastic Drive Nut (A) off of the motor shaft.

See Figure 1. Install a new drive nut on the motor shaft and turn to the 2-1/4 to 2-3/8 inch (5.71 to 6.04 cm) DOWN position discussed
in step 15 of the
Actuator Lift Nut Adjustment
section. NOTE: Make sure the pin holes are orientated towards the end of the motor
shaft as shown.

Follow steps 1-6 of the
Pad Lift Actuator Removal and Installation
section in reverse order to re-install the Lift Actuator in the
machine.
