Share USB Devices Attached to the Router

AC750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router R6050

Access Your USB Device Remotely

When you connect the USB device to the router USB port, it might take up to two minutes
before it is ready for sharing. You can access your USB storage device remotely.



To access the USB device from a remote computer:

1.

Launch a web browser.

2.

Connect using the router’s Internet port IP address.

If you are using Dynamic DNS, you can type the DNS name rather than the IP address.
You can view the router’s Internet IP address on the ADVANCED Home screen.



To access the USB device with FTP from a remote computer:

1.

Launch a web browser from a computer or WiFi device that is connected to the network.

2.

Enter

http://www.routerlogin.net

or

http://www.routerlogin.com

.

A login screen displays.

3.

Enter the router user name and password.

The user name is

admin

. The default password is

password

. The user name and

password are case-sensitive.

The BASIC Home screen displays.

4.

Select
