Removing a 3 1/2-Inch Accessible Device
To remove a 3 1/2-inch accessible device, first remove the bracket
holding the device from the system, then remove the 3 1/2-inch accessible
device from the bracket.
1.
Remove the system unit cover and front panel (see “Removing the
Cover” and “Removing the Front Panel”).
Before removing the cover, turn off system
power and unplug the system power cable. Power is removed only when
the power cable is unplugged.

Disconnect the power and signal cables connected to all devices in
the two-device bracket (see “Diskette Drive Cabling”).
3.
Press the tabs on either side of the bracket inward to unlatch it from
the chassis.
4.
Pull the bracket out the front of the chassis.
