5.7.2

Sleep Mode Start menu

Activate Sleep Mode
During Sleep Mode, "Press Enter to restart" will be displayed in the operation panel.
During Sleep Mode, pressing [Enter] key will return the printer to normal operation.

NOTE

• If you try to switch to Sleep Mode under the following circumstances, "Don’t Start Sleep Mode"

will be displayed and the printer will not change to Sleep Mode.

• The front cover is open.

• The media loading lever was switched to the back side.

• The waste fluid tank is full.

• The ink cartridge is empty.

• The ink cartridge has been removed.

• An object other than an appropriate ink cartridge is inserted in the cartridge slot, etc.

Activate Sleep Mode again after returning the printer to a normal state.

7.2 Error messages

• During Sleep Mode, pressing [Enter] key under one of the circumstances listed above will not

return the printer to normal operation.
Return the printer to a normal state, and press [Enter] key to return the printer to normal operation.
