Effect menu

Sets up the Effect menu.
Set up this menu when you want to improve print quality by adjusting the set print mode.

NOTE

• The print quality may not be improved depending on the printing condition.

The Effect function is not used.
If obvious white lines or uneven print density appear on 
printed media in "None 1", set to "None 2".

Wave 1

The printing joint will be the wave form.
It will be improved the print quality.
If obvious white lines or uneven print density appear on 
printed media in "Wave 1", set to "Wave 2".

Wave 2

Fuzz 1

The printing joint will shade off as the wave form.
Set up this menu when obvious white lines or uneven print 
density appear on printed media in "Wave".
If obvious white lines or uneven print density appear on 
printed media in "Fuzz 1", set to "Fuzz 2".

Fuzz 2

Wow 1

Set when colors become irregular.
If irregular colors are not fixed using "Wow 1", set to "Wow 2".

Wow 2

<Fine&Wave 1>

Perform printing at a slow speed compared with "Wave".
Set up this menu when improving the print quality compared 
with "Wave".
If obvious white lines or uneven print density appear on 
printed media in "Fine&Wave 1", set to "Fine&Wave 2".

Fine&Wave 2

Fine&Fuzz 1

Perform printing at a slow speed compared with "Fuzz".
Set up this menu when improving the print quality compared 
with "Fuzz".
If obvious white lines or uneven print density appear on 
printed media in "Fine&Fuzz 1", set to "Fine&Fuzz 2".

Fine&Fuzz 2

A-S.Fine&Wave

Performs "Wave" printing using one side of the nozzles of the 
print head.
Since only one side of the nozzles is used, printing speed 
becomes half of "Wave 1 to 2".
Set up this menu when improving the print quality compared 
with "Fine&Wave 1 to 2".

B-S.Fine&Wave

Performs "Wave" printing using the other side of the nozzles 
of the print head that is used for "A-S.Fine&Wave".
Since only one side of the nozzles is used, printing speed 
becomes half of "Wave 1 to 2".
Set up this menu when improving the print quality compared 
with "Fine&Wave 1 to 2".

• [Enter] key: saves the setting and shifts to the previous 

menu.

• [Cancel] key: cancels the setting and shifts to the previous 

menu.
