Chapter 3: Basics

Notes

•

When installing a new cutter blade, make sure that the spring built-in in the blade holder does not come
out of the holder.

Step 9 :

Softly push the knob of the cutter blade and reposition the cutter holder lever (2) simultaneously
as shown on the image below.

Do not strongly press or suddenly release the cutter holder knob, to prevent the built-in spring from
springing out.

Do not push the cutter holder to the end. The cutter blade will damage the inside of the plotter.

Correctly install the cutter holder lever referring to the image shown in this step of the procedure.

•

Incorrect installation will generate errors.
If an error occurs, check that the cutter holder lever is attached correctly.

Step 10 :

Close the front cover (1).
