6.3.2 Stop printing
To stop printing:
Press the [Cancel] key on the operation panel. See image below.
Result: The plotter will operate as follows:

Operation with the [Cancel] key pressed
Printing
Terminates printing and deletes the non printed data.
Receiving, analyzing
Deletes the received and analyzed data and the rest of the incoming data of the
print file.
Before data receiving
When roll media is set, the roll media will be cut at that position.

Ink dry timer wait
Ignores the setting of the ink dry timer wait function and ejects the media.
6.3.3 Cutting media
Be sure to read and understand the safety warnings before handling the printer.
When the plotter prints on roll media, it will cut off media automatically after finishing a print.
Roll media can be cut off at any position according to the following procedure:
Step 1 :
Verify that the plotter is in the Normal mode.
Step 2 :
Verify that the media hold lever is positioned to the front side (lever down).
Step 3 :
Press the [Cut] key on the operation panel.
Result: Roll media is fed forward about 90 mm and cut off at the media cut position.
Notes
•
If the front edge of new roll media is not straight, then cut off the front edge of the roll media.
•
The cutter blade is replaceable. To periodically replace the cutter blade, follow the instructions
described in
“
Replacing cutter blade.
”
