5) Push ENTER to set your position choice.
6) Use the UP key to locate the submenu “MODE”.
7) Push ENTER.
8) Select “SMART” using the UP or DOWN key.
9) Push ENTER to set the Mode.
10) Use the UP key to locate the submenu “MSI WT”.
11) Push ENTER. The current set MSI WT is dis-
played.
12) Using the numeric keys, input the MSI WT. For this
example, we’ll input 70 kg.
Make sure that the MSI WT is in the displayed units. If not convert the MSI
WT to the calibration unit as shown on the display.
13) Push ENTER to store the MSI WT.
14) Use the UP key to locate the submenu “USER WT”
15) Push ENTER. The current user weight it displayed.
16) Using the numeric keys, input the USER WT. For
this example, we’ll input 240 kg.
The USER WT is equivalent to the dead load of the scale. In MCS and
OMS systems, the USER WT is the weight of the magnet and chains
beneath the scale.
17) Push ENTER to store the USER WT.
18) Push EXIT. You are now back in the “CAL SETUP”
menu. Use the UP/DOWN keys to scroll to the next
calibration operation or push EXIT to return to
normal scale operation.
