Installing or Removing the Lithium Battery
Removing the Top
Cover Refer to Figure 2-9 when removing the top cover and front panel and follow these
steps:

Step Action

Open front panel door by using a downward motion to pull it toward
you and off.
2 Insert a flat-head screwdriver in the slot above each of the six snap
hinges on the sides of the unit and push downward. The hinges snap
out toward you.

Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for the remaining hinges.
4 Lift off the top cover.

Release hinges on
each side.
Open and remove front
panel by unsnapping the
panel from its tabs.
2 Insert a screwdriver at a 45
°
angle on one of the six release
hinges and push downward.
