Weld Monitor
Weld Monitor
function is performed when
Weld Count
is set ON (
Mode Select
screen). The
Monitor
checks if the correct number of welds has been made during the period that the
Weld Count
signal is on.
At the end of the
Weld Count
period, if the weld count is less than that set at
Weld Count
on the
Monitor
Set
screen, the
Count Error
signal is generated.
Example:
The illustration below shows that the
Weld Count
was set for 4, but only three welds
occurred at the completion of the
Weld Count
signal. Therefore a
Count Error
occurs.

To clear the
COUNT ERROR
output signal, the
WELD COUNT
input must be triggered high. The
WELD COUNT
input can then be left high for the next weld sequence or it can be turned off.
