GAIN (1-9)
– This entry operates only in the secondary RMS and power RMS feedback modes and is
used to set the amount of gain for feedback. The larger the value, the greater the gain; thus shortening
the current rise time. Can cause overshoot if set too high.
WELD ON/OFF
– This entry is one of three required signals for making the Power Supply ready to
operate. The other two are the
WELD ON/OFF
switch on the front panel and the external Weld ON/OFF
signal from the I/O connector. When all three signals are all present, the green READY light on the
Power Supply control panel will light.
PAGE DOWN
– When the cursor is on
PULSATION
or
GAIN (1-9)
and the cursor down arrow is pressed,
the extended
Schedule
screen will appear.
Extended Schedule Screen
PAGE UP
– When the cursor is on
SCHEDULE #
and the cursor up arrow is
pressed, the previous
Schedule
screen
will appear.

SCHEDULE
# – This entry is used to designate the Schedule number, 001 through 064.
VALVE #
– This entry is used to designate the Valve number for each Schedule, 1 through 4.
FORGE VALVE #
– This entry is used to designate which valve will be used for forging, 1 through 4.
The forge valve should not be the same as the Valve (above).
FORGE DELAY
– This entry is used to set the delay before
activating the Forge Valve.
TURNS RATIO
– This entry is used to set the turns ratio of the welding transformer. The ratio is that of
the primary winding turns divided by the secondary winding turns.
CHAINING
– This entry is used to turn this Schedule On for the Chaining function. This will allow this
Schedule to be selected in ascending order for welding. In Chaining mode, as long as the start signal is
maintained, the operation will continue through each schedule in selected sequence.
SUCCESSIVE
– This entry is used to turn this Schedule On for the Successive function. This will allow
this Schedule to be selected in ascending order for welding. In Successive mode, a separate start signal
is required to begin each schedule in the selected sequence.
NOTE:
If either
CHAINING
or
SUCCESSIVE
schedules are chosen, they will take precedence over
hardware or software set schedules.
