NOTE: Do not use for any other purpose.
3 External Signal Power IN
4 External Signal COM
Control power input terminals for external signals.
NOTE: Connect pin 1 or 2 to these pins depending on input signal
circuit.
5 Common (COM) Common (COM) terminal for pins 6 and 7.
6 Parity Parity Check input terminal.
7 Emergency Stop Emergency stop input terminal. Operation stops when this terminal
is open.
8 Common (COM) Common (COM) terminal for pins 9 and 10.
9 Error Reset Error Reset input terminal. If this terminal is closed, error output is
reset, EXCEPT for COUNT ERROR output
10 Step Reset Step Reset input terminal. If this terminal is closed when STEPPER
is turned on, the STEP is reset to 1.
11 Common (COM) Common (COM) terminal for pin 12.
12 Flow Switch Flow Switch input terminal. For optional cooling water flow switch.
An open switch will stop operation and create an error signal.
13 Common (COM) Common (COM) terminal for pin 14.
14 Weld ON/OFF Weld ON/OFF input terminal. If this terminal is closed, welding
function is armed. This is one of three signals required to start
welding.
15 Common (COM) Common (COM) terminal for pin 16.
16 Thermostat Thermostat input terminal. This terminal is connected to the weld
transformer thermostat. If the thermostat opens, indicating
overheating, the unit will stop and an error message will be
generated.
17 Weld Count/Interrupt Weld Count or Interrupt input terminal. Normally used for weld
count to check if number of welds, to which Weld Count has been
set, has been performed. When count is reached, the terminal is
open. If Interrupt is turned on, and this terminal is closed during
operation, operation sequence will proceed to Hold.
18 Common Common terminal for Count Error, Weld On, and Step End open-
collector transistors (connected to pins 19, 20, and 21).
19 Count Error Count Error output terminal (open collector). When the Weld Count
signal is present, this output is present until the preset number of
welds is completed. Then the output is open.
20 Weld On Weld On output terminal (open collector). Turns on during weld
power. (See Appendix B.)
