Stopping access to the CompactFlash card
To replace the CompactFlash card while the C Controller system power is on, access to
the CompactFlash card must be stopped.
This section describes how to stop access to the CompactFlash card.
(1) Access stop procedure
Determine a file access stop request signal (Xn) in advance.
Create a program to perform the following operations by using the QBF_X_In_BitEx
function, QBF_UnmountCfCard function, and various file access (open/close)
functions.
(Use "CF CARD status" of the QBF_ReadStatusEx function as necessary.)
(a) To remove the CompactFlash card while power is on
IMPORTANT
1. Before handling a CompactFlash card, touch a grounded metal object to discharge
the static electricity from the human body.
Failure to do so may cause the module to fail or malfunction.
2. Do not power off or reset the system or remove the CompactFlash card during file
writing to the CompactFlash card.
Doing so may cause a corruption of the CompactFlash card data or a file system
error.
3. To remove the CompactFlash card while a file is written to, perform the procedure for
stopping access described in this section.
For powering off or reset, refer to the following.
