4.2.14 INK PURGE

Ink discharging at part replacement (Liquid supply pump OFF)
1. Select [#ADJUST] -> [INK PURGE].
2. Press [ENTER] key to move the carriage to the maintenance
position.
3. Turn the ink pump OFF.

4. Check the ink color, and press the purge button until no ink is
discharged from the head.
5. Manually perform wiping.
6. Press [ENTER] key to terminate [#INK PURGE].
After parts replacement (Ink charging)
1. Check that the ink bottle has been set.
2. Select [#ADJUST] -> [INK PURGE].
3. Press [ENTER] key to move the carriage to the maintenance
position.
4. Turn the ink pump ON.

5. Insert the air purge jig into the ink port and insert another end of
the jig for discharge into the waste ink tank or tray, and press
the purge button.
Press the button continuous until ink is discharged flow from
end of the jig.
6. Manually perform wiping.
7. Press [ENTER] key to end.
