Fit the selector fork (5) on the 6th speed gear.
Position the selector fork guide (4) in the lower slot of the se-
lector drum.
Position the selector fork guide (5) in the upper slot of the se-
lector drum.
Fit the selector forks shaft (6).
Position the selector drum in 4th speed; the Mecanindus pin is
aligned with the selector fork shaft.
Fit the selector shaft (7), fi tted with its two 5 friction washers.
FITTING THE LEFT-HAND HALF-CRANKCASE
Check that the friction washers are present on:
a) the secondary drive shaft (1).
b) the selector drum (2).
c) the selector shaft
Fit the centring rods (4).
Check that the right-hand crankcase joining surface is perfectly
clean.
Apply sealing paste to the right-hand crankcase joining surface.
Grease the ends of the shafts lightly.
Check that the left-hand crankcase joining surface is perfectly
clean.
Fit the left-hand half of the crankcase.
Screw the stud on the end of the crankshaft-connecting rod.
